• South Coast Winery – Temecula, CA – Rated the #1 winery in the state of California, this place provides a picturesque backdrop for a wonderful weekend getaway. Treat yourself to their grapeseed spa, check out the wine tasting room, roam the vineyards, check out their fine dining, or rent a villa.

• Amusement Park – Take the day to getaway and be a kid again! Ride some rides, eat some naughty foods, and forget your worries. No matter where you live, you can typically find an amusement park nearby. Some specific suggestions: Disneyland, Disneyworld, Hershey Park, Knotts Berry Farm, Six Flags, Sea World, Busch Gardens.

• Wineries – Wineries are typically located in a very picturesque location. If you live on the West Coast, Temecula, Santa Barbara, and Napa Valley are all hosts to some of the best and well-known wineries.

• Picnic for 2 – No matter where you live, you will no be hard-pressed to find a local park of some sort. Pack a few snacks or a meal along with a blanket and go cuddle up with your loved one under a shady tree, on a comfy bench, or a nice grassy spot. Savor the silence and undistracted moments together with some good conversation & cuddling.

• Rollerskating – Every is more fun on wheels. Check your local phonebook or google “rollerskating rink” with your town name to find on nearby. Enjoy a bit of a throwback night. You can do this for 2 or invite a few other couples to join you in a spin.

• Ice Skating – Who doesn’t want the chance to get bundled up and snuggle up with their special someone? Most places having ice skating, although a lot of warmer climates are more seasonal. Still, check your local phone book or Google “ice skating” with your town name to find a rink near you.

• Bowling – Every town has bowling, and it’s always fun. Grab your special someone and go hit up the lanes for a fun, laughable time together.

• Barnes & Noble - Take some time to sit down with your special someone and talk about future goals together. Thinking of traveling, look up areas right there in the store. Interested in some new venture together? Grab a book on it and talk it over with each other. Whatever it is you might be talking about, you can grab more info on it and journey through it together.

• Fair – Every town has a fair come through once a year. Games, prizes, rides, fair food, animals, live entertainment…sounds like a recipe for fun! It’s usually fairly inexpensive, and often times you can find special coupons & offers online or in your local newspaper for them. It’s great for a couple or a whole family!
