Happy early Easter everyone!

Hopefully you all have some fun and wonderful celebrations planned with loved ones for this special holiday of hope! If you’re like me, you’re probably putting the finishing touches on your preparations. This year we’re headed to church with a group of friends, and then I’m making a big feast for us all to follow. Honestly, I cannot wait!

Something else that my hubs and I do is exchange Easter baskets. Yes, we’re way too old for these antics, but what can I say? We’re two overgrown kids who happen to love to do silly, fun, and childish things. We think it keeps things fresh and fun. That’s our story, and we’re sticking too it :)

Anyway, whether you’re writing a card out to your love bunny or creating a basket of treats, I created a little printable for you to include with your goodies. You can print it off and write a sweet, personal note on the back for your spouse, kids, parents, siblings … anyone and everyone! Enjoy, and Happy Easter!

Phew! It’s been awhile since I have come across any freebies or goodies that I could share with all of you, but today ends the drought. Christian Radio station, Fish 95.9, is sharing a free MP3 to get us all in the Christmas, festive spirit. It’s called Christmas in our Hearts  by Downhere. It’s completely free! You all know how I love to offer up some great deals, freebies, and goodies that I find so you too can enjoy them. Today I came across another free MP3 that I really enjoyed and thought you just might too.

This song is called “Jesus Weeps,” and it is by the Harvest Worship Band. Here is a little information about what Harvest is:

Levi’s invited today’s pioneering musicians from pop, rock, soul and rap to re-craft the classic songs that inspired their songs in a project they call “Levi’s Pioneer Sessions.” All of these songs are free and available with several artists from Colbie Caillat to Jason Mraz to Nas to John Legend & The Roots. There are 12 free songs already available for download.
