A topic that comes up quite frequently with Steve and me is the future. What goals do we have? What timeline are we looking at for everything we want to do and accomplish? Where do we ultimately see ourselves? When do we buy this or do that? Those types of questions float around us like a cloud. I think many young couples especially deal with these questions and the desire to have a game plan for the future.

It can be so unsettling sorting out some of life’s big decisions as a couple. Oftentimes it’s frustrating, and you are left feeling as though you are in a constant state of limbo. You want to figure it all out for tomorrow without forgetting to live today. It’s a tough balance and something that Steve and I often find ourselves milling over.
