What was one of your favorite memories of 2012?
I’ll get us started …
Steve and I made some amazing memories in 2012. We went a lot of places, saw a lot of things, and did a lot of fun activities. Yet, all things considered, one of my favorite memories has to be our trip to Italy and Greece we took for our 4 year wedding anniversary. It’s a trip I’ve always wanted to go on, and we had talked about it since we started dating, so when it happened, it was a dream come true. We saw some of the most indescribable and amazing things, and I just love all of the precious memories I got to make with my sweet husband. It was the trip of a lifetime, and I will always cherish and treasure that adventure we got to go on together.
Okay, it’s your turn!

For me it would be when the LORD finally gave me clear vision of my purpose. I launched my online magazine in the Fall and it has blessed so many. It has brought me great joy to share God’s healing power, love and grace and provide a platform for other women to do the same. All glory to GOD!

Carmen, thanks for joining the conversation! What a blessing it is to KNOW what it is you are called to do. That’s something I thank God for every day with Foundation Restoration … that I get to do what I’m passionate about and called to do each and every day! I checked out Whole Magazine, and it looks great! You’ve done a wonderful job with it, and I know God will use it to greatly minister to women everywhere! Keep up the great work!

Well this is pretty easy
We have lots that happened in 2012! All are so sweet! First our niece Julianna was born. She is our goddaughter as well. My best friend got married and then it was our turn! Our wedding was a dream come true, and our honeymoon was absolutely perfect! I cannot wait to see what other great memories are created in this first year of marriage. And today marks 4 months <3

My best memory was a mission trip to a remote Indian tribe in Brazil (my 2nd trip there). I love doing children’s ministry and serving the long-term missionaries who have left all to serve this tribe. The best news? After about 40 years of missionary presence, they finally have the entire audio Bible in their tribal language, as of this fall. Praise God!
p.s. I’m glad you got to take that dream trip with your husband!

Lindsay, wow! That is incredible and inspiring that you have gone on 2 mission trips to Brazil! What an opportunity, and I love that you have a heart for children and ministering to the long-term missionaries there. I think that’s an under-served area … ministering to those who are constantly ministering to others! And what a breakthrough with the audio Bible in the tribal language! God is good! Thank you so much for sharing!

I have some great memories from the past year, but the one of my favorite is from my niece’s wedding. My husband walked her down and gave her away. He took this very seriously. Seeing the look on his face when he danced the father/daughter dance with her is priceless. It really makes me think about how he will be when our own daughters dance that dance with him.

Vicki, thanks for kicking off this week’s conversation! What an amazing opportunity for your husband! I can imagine that that was a special moment for both your husband and your niece. How special! It will be an amazing moment when it’s your daughters’ turns too!
