Do you have any fun summer plans?

I’ll get us started …

This summer Steve and I will mostly likely be staying local. Having just bought our first home, our time, energy, and money are all being poured into getting it settled and just the way we want it. Having waited nearly six years for our first home, we’re quite content with that being our summer plans. We do have a couple of small trips planned that aren’t far from home, and we have family members coming in to stay with us too, which will be so much fun! Honestly, I think it’s going to be the perfect summer for us!

Okay, it’s your turn!

Congratulations to our April Talking Tuesday winner … Kristen!!! We love hearing from you all, so keep joining us for your chance to win this month’s giveaway!

Late to the party! But we don’t have a lot of summer plans going on. We are really looking forward to a trip to upstate New York to visit Scott’s sister and her hubby and kiddos for the Fourth Of July weekend! Then we are working on a weekend away at the beach with some friends. Looking forward to lots of pool time and hikes and outdoor activities, though ; )

    Congrats on the new house!

Going to visit my wife’s mother in Ohio. She is a great lady and contrary to the usual mother-in-law misconceptions, I love e her very much and she happens to be quite funny and an awesome cook. It is going to be a great time! Then in July we head to Tulsa, OK, taking our daughter to our annual church youth retreat. That’s a blast watching thousands of young people worship God. That will be it for the summer…can’t wait!

Jerry, I love that you have such kind things to say about your mother-in-law! How refreshing; it sounds like you both work hard at that relationship! Your trips sound fun, and I hope you guys have safe, memorable and fun times!
