I’ll get us started …

Steve’s and my first date (technically) was a Tyrone Wells concert in Los Angeles. His song Wondering Where You Are already had a special place in our hearts so we decided to hit up his concert. It was an intimate venue, and we enjoyed singing, dancing, and being together. It was a fun and memorable first date, and the best part is that every time I hear that song, it reminds me of that night.

Okay, it’s your turn!

Congratulations to our April Talking Tuesday Giveaway Winner … Melisse!!! Thanks to everyone who has been participating; we LOVE hearing your thoughts! The conversations have been so good, and we are thankful for each of your responses, so keep them coming! And spread the word :)

This is a hard question for me. I had known my husband for many years prior to our dating. At one point when we were in high school he had dated my best friend at the time and we did double date. We both went our own ways after we graduated. However, a few years later later he called me and we met for coffee at the local coffee house. I did spill coffee on the both of us and all over the table. We have been together 21 years on the 22nd. Thanks for bringing my mind back to the beginning. It was a nice walk down memory lane.

Vicki, I kind of had a hard time with this one too because my husband and I have a big back story to our love story, so I understand. It sounds like you and your husband definitely have a long history together. Coffee dates are a fun way to focus on each other – relatively distraction free. Glad this question took you down memory lane; that’s what I was hoping it would do for people! Thanks for sharing!
