I’ll get us started …
The last date that Steve and I went on was our weekly lunch date. Every Thursday we set aside that lunch for a date together. We switch up where we go, but it’s just a really special and fun time for us amidst the craziness of the work week. That is one of my favorite times together because I can look forward to that quality time each week. If you can, I would highly recommend a weekly lunch date
Okay, it’s your turn!

I just went on a date two nights ago… My husband bought front row tickets to our favorite female artist. What’s even more exciting was the childcare he arranged for was my sister who lives in Minneapolis. We live in Florida. He gave me family time and a date for this past week. One of the most special dates we have ever had together.

Just as you have said, it is important to find and make time to spend together, with everyone having such busy lives. There is a park here that has a walking bridge which is over one of the two lakes that are close to where we live. Our last planned date was that we went to the bridge in the early evening just as the sun was going down. It is a busy place but very nice for us. Some of the wildlife we see as we walk are an eagle’s nest, eagles, seagulls, pelicans, ducks, geese, frogs, turtles, lots of fish and spiders. It is a walk we have taken many times and enjoy it every time we go.

Vicki, I think it’s tough to be a park date. Honestly, a walk in the park is one of my favorite things to do with my husband because it’s so peaceful. Sounds like yours is a little busy, but it’s nice you are still able to savor that spot and enjoy the wildlife along the way. Thanks for kicking off the conversation!
